Quick Start Bulletin Creator

With this brief guide, you can easily create your first Radio Bulletin within 5 minutes. The Bulletin is always the foundation of the system. Within the Bulletin, you set its properties such as the number of items, jingles, weather report, traffic info, etc. A new account always includes a Demo Bulletin that you can customize to your needs. You can create multiple Bulletins in the system. Follow the steps below and be amazed by the simplicity.

  • Step 1

    First, add your own IP address to the system to enable playback. This is a security setting, and you can do this via the option  Settings / IP Address.

  • Step 2

    Use the Demo Bulletin under the option Bulletin or create a new Bulletin using the + icon.

  • Step 3

    Set all the properties of the Bulletin. Go through the tabs and don’t forget to create a unique Output MP3 filename. This will be the file you can download within your radio station’s Radio Automation Software. After making adjustments, save your changes. If saving doesn’t work correctly, check all tabs to see if something was filled in incorrectly. Your Bulletin is now ready to use.

  • Step 4

    You can now enter the content of the Bulletin by clicking the Pencil icon. This is a manual process, typically done by an editor. After saving the Bulletin’s items, you can generate it. If you’ve set the Bulletin to Active in its properties, it will automatically be created at the scheduled time.

  • Step 5

    This step applies only if you want the news to be fetched, processed, and created into a radio bulletin fully automatically, without an editor’s intervention. Set the RSS Settings via Bron/RSS Instellingen. Choose, for example, the RSS feed of your news website. You can also use multiple RSS Feeds at different times for news variation. Don’t forget to link the RSS Feed to the Bulletin in the settings.

  • Step 6

    You’re basically done now. Of course, try to optimize everything to your preferences. Adjust the appropriate time schedule for the Bulletin. Only generate it at times when you need it—this will automatically lower your costs. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our AI Team.
